Plastic plating-how to prevent rust in electroplated furniture

1. Do not place the galvanized furniture in a damp place, let alone use a damp cloth to wipe the galvanized furniture. When washing the surface of an electroplated folding chair or sofa with soapy water or washing powder water, try not to wet the metal-plated parts. Otherwise, plating layers and lacquer parts will easily peel off and rust.
2. When a yellow-brown mesh spot is found on the surface of the plated part, you can use neutral engine oil to rub it frequently to prevent the mesh spot from continuing to expand and the plating protective layer from deteriorating and rusting.
3. Rusted electroplated furniture should be derusted in time, but do not use sandpaper to polish it. Small plated parts can be placed in a basin containing engine oil and soaked overnight. Large plated parts can be coated on the rust area with a brush or cotton yarn dipped in engine oil. After a while, the rust can be removed by wiping it back and forth several times.
4. Usually apply anti-rust agent on the plated parts to prevent rust.
