I. the definition of 18K.
18K gold refers to an alloy composed of 75% gold and 25% other metals, commonly known as 18K gold with rich colors, including white karat gold, yellow karat gold, rose gold, black gold and so on. Potassium gold cyanide 6~12g/L.
Potassium antimony tartrate 4.5g/L.
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate 60g/L.
Copper (added with copper coordination salt) 5g/L.
EDTA-2Na20g/L.
The temperature is 4550 ℃.
Ph 4.5-6.0.
Current density 1.0~1.5/dm2.
Stirring cathode movement or rotation movement.

Third, the luxurious yellow is plated with 18K gold.

(1) the formula and operating conditions of yellow series 18K gold plating solution:
Potassium gold cyanide 7~10g/L.
Potassium cyanide 50~60g/L.
Potassium silver cyanide 2.0~2.5g/L.
Ammonium hydroxide 50~60g/L.
Potassium carbonate 10g/L.
Ph 11.0-12.5.
The temperature is 1823 ℃.
Cathode current density 0.3~0.6A/dm.
Stirring cathode (25 times / min) or rotating movement.
Stainless steel plate made of anode material.
(2) to master the main points:
1 the ratio of potassium gold cyanide to potassium silver cyanide is 100: 20: 25, that is, each liter is supplemented with 10 g potassium gold cyanide and 2.5 g potassium silver cyanide.
(2) it is better for potassium cyanide to be kept at 45~60g/L, and a low level will affect the electrical conductivity and coordination. Ammonium hydroxide should always be supplemented in an appropriate amount (but not too much). It can adjust the pH value and increase the brightness of the coating.
(3) when the gold content of the solution is on the low side, the coating appears the phenomenon of spongy gloss, so the coating should be fed quickly.
(4) the temperature should be strictly controlled at 18-23 ℃, and the cathode current density should be 0.3~0.8A/dm.
