The automatic plating production line is a modern equipment that conducts flow operations in strict accordance with the pre-established plating process procedures, time and requirements. It is not only efficient, saves a lot of manpower and material resources, improves the production environment, but also ensures long-term stability of product quality. Play an important role. It is an inevitable product of the electroplating industry's transformation from the small-scale operation of small workshops to modern large-scale production and increase variety content. It is the only way to change the backward appearance of my country's electroplating industry.
Electroplating production lines have a wide range of applications. They are suitable for surface treatment processes such as cleaning, blackening, electrophoresis, phosphating, aluminum anodization and various plating types.
Due to the high investment, decisions must be thoughtful, mature and long-term before making decisions. When making decisions, we should comprehensively consider several aspects such as our own strength, output size, variety range, quality requirements, management level, degree of automation, and development goals.
1. The output of the automatic electroplating production line
1. Beat time T
Tick time refers to the time taken to top and next a hanging (or bucket) workpiece. In general, the shorter the beat time, the more hangs (or buckets) produced per unit time.
For linear electroplating production lines, the beat time is generally ≥4.5 minutes, and the shortest can be up to 3 minutes: for circular electroplating production lines, the beat time is generally ≥1 minute, and the shortest can be up to 35 seconds.
2. Amount of plated parts per rack or barrel G
For hanging plated parts, the amount of plated parts per hanging is related to the size of the tank body, and is generally measured by the number of pieces or weight. Discharge range of parts: Horizontal direction shall be 200mm smaller than the size of the tank body, and height shall be 350- 400mm smaller than the tank body.
For barrel plated parts, the amount of plated parts per barrel is related to the size of the barrel and is generally measured by weight. The emissions of parts generally do not exceed one-third of the total capacity of the drum.
3. Calculation of output
The output of an automatic electroplating production line is related to the beat time T (minutes) and the amount of plated parts per rack or barrel G (kilograms or parts).
The output per hour is: G× (60/T)
2. Type of automatic electroplating production line
1. Characteristics of linear type
The straight tanks are arranged in a straight line according to the process order. Although the beat time is slightly longer, the tank width range is large (the maximum width can be 7 meters), so each tank can bear more plated parts, and the total output is not low. Because it transfers workpieces back and forth through the interconnection of one to several cranes, it is particularly convenient to realize multiple working procedures on one machine.
There are two types of straight-line driving vehicles: gantry type and cantilever type, which are mainly powered by motors. The former has a large lifting weight and is suitable for occasions where large and medium-sized plated parts have a wide tank body; the latter is light, beautiful, has an unobstructed working surface, and the operation process is clear at a glance. It is suitable for occasions where medium and small plated parts have a wide tank body.
2. Characteristics of circular lines
The grooves of the ring line are arranged in a ring according to the process order. Although the beat time is short, the groove length cannot be too long due to the pitch limit, so each hook cannot bear too many plated parts; however, some ring lines can be plated at the same time per beat. 2-3 hooks can be plated at the same time, and the total output is considerable. Since it is operating at full capacity, energy can be fully utilized.
Commonly used ring line types range from simple (small) to complex (large): climbing type, pressing plate type, mechanical guide type, mechanical cantilever type, hydraulic guide type, etc., respectively powered by motor or hydraulic pressure. The weight that can withstand per beat ranges from 3 to 50 kilograms.
3. Basic functions of the electroplating automatic production line
Electroplating automatic production lines controlled by (imported) PLC are generally set up with three operating modes: "manual","step" and "automatic". Can be easily converted from each other. The "manual" operation is generally set to the "click type"(press the operation, and stop the operation). Its speed is slow and is generally used when adjusting the spacing (it can also be used as a handling crane on a straight line). "Stepping" operation is to complete an action by pressing one click (when moving horizontally on a straight line, pressing will move, and loosening will stop at the previous station), its speed is normal, it can be used as manual operation on a straight line, and on a circular line. Generally used for debugging equipment. "Automatic" operation can be set up to "fully automatic" and "single cycle"."Single cycle" is mainly used to verify the effect of equipment debugging, and decisions are made based on the needs of root distance. On a straight line, as many as dozens of working procedures can be set for the root spacing requirements and actual conditions for "automatic" operation; on a circular line, several working procedures can also be set if the conditions are right. Stopping the "automatic" movement allows it to stop itself (return to the original position) after the last movement is completed.
A slowdown is generally set for each action when the electroplating automatic production line is running. The process is: slower-normal-slower-slow. If necessary, the slowdown can also be divided into two stages. Therefore, when the normal speed reaches 28 meters/minute, the start of each movement can be maintained smoothly and accurately. This cannot be satisfied on non-automatic production lines (≤16 m/min). When the automatic production line is powered by a motor, it mainly relies on an (imported) frequency converter to regulate the speed; when it is powered by hydraulic pressure, it mainly relies on a speed regulating valve to regulate the speed. Both can be adjusted infinitely to achieve optimal operating conditions and meet the requirements of beat time (i.e. yield).
The automatic electroplating production line controlled by (imported) PLC can show its talents in various aspects of "man-machine facing" such as automatic "spraying","air jet","temperature control","current regulation","large current impact","PH monitoring","addition","operation display","fault display","production record","report printing","modification of process parameters","remote control, operation" and "networking with computer switchboard". Users can choose according to their needs, and if necessary, they can configure auxiliary equipment such as text display or screen display, and computer.
