Bright chrome plating parts have the following advantages:

Non-conductor metallization method

In addition to electroplating methods, non-conductor metallization also includes vacuum plating, cathodic sputtering, and metal spraying. The non-conductor electroplating method must first make the surface of the non-conductor conductive. The process is to roughen the object by mechanical or chemical methods to obtain the inner lock surface, and then coat it with a conductive coating. The methods are as follows:

1. Bronze treatment: The fine metal powder, usually copper powder, is mixed with a binder and coated on the object, and then immersed with silver cyanide solution.

2. Graphitization: Graphite powder is coated on wax, rubber, and some polymers, and then electroplated with copper sulfate solution.

3. Metallic paint: Coating silver powder and solvent on the object and sintering to obtain a conductive surface or electroplating with copper sulfate solution.

4. Metallization: The metal coating formed by chemical methods is usually silver coating. The silver nitrate solution and the reducing agent solution such as formalin or hydrazine are respectively sprayed on the object at the same time to obtain the silver surface.

After the non-conductor is metalized from the above four methods, general electroplating methods can be used for further processing.
