Technological process of water electroplating. 


Degreasing (degreasing): to remove oil stains from parts during molding, storage, and transportation, generally soak in an aqueous solution containing degreasing powder, which should be properly heated and stirred to speed up oil production. 

Second, coarsening: to improve the hydrophilicity of the part surface and form an appropriate roughness to ensure the good adhesion of the coating, the hyperchromic acid solution is widely used for ABS materials. 

Neutralization, reduction, or pickling: clean the coarsening liquid left on the surface of the parts to prevent the use of the hydrochloric acid solution in the next process. 

Fourth, activation: at present, the colloid activation process is widely used, which makes the sensitization activation complete in one step. 

Its main function is to form a discontinuous and catalytic precious metal layer on the surface of the parts, which acts as the activation center of metal deposition in electroless plating so that electroless plating can be carried out spontaneously. 

Degumming: the surface of the colloidal activated part adsorbs colloidal particles, which has no catalytic activity. The bivalent tin water layer adsorbed around it must be removed to expose the particles, usually with an acid or alkali solution. 

6. Electroless plating: electroless nickel plating, electroless copper plating, electroless silver plating, and so on are commonly used in electroless plating. Electroless nickel plating is generally used in plastic plating. The main function of this process is to deposit a layer of nickel conductive layer on the surface of parts by the activation of particles so that subsequent electroplating operations can be carried out.

Electroplating nickel: prevents the copper coating from rusting and increases the hardness and wear resistance of the coating.
